This article will help troubleshoot Skillsoft content in eloomi.

Skillsoft is a content provider partnered with eloomi. Their library consists of SCORM 1.2. Due to settings and conventions applied by Skillsoft in their SCORM content, Admins and users alike might encounter on occasion a "player error".

Important: A player error does not mean it's impossible to continue. In many cases, should you exit the module, refresh the page, and reload the Module, you should be able to continue. In scenarios where the above doesn't correct the challenge, a platform Admin can reset the user's progress.

To prevent this message, the following steps should be followed:

• Your Wi-Fi connection should be consistent.

• Do not attempt to move through the SCORM course too quickly, as this could interrupt the slides while they load.

• Skillsoft courses will time out and stop recording duration after 5 minutes of inactivity based on the last keystroke. After 60 minutes of inactivity, the player sends progress data and closes.

• Save your progress by clicking the ‘Save and exit X’ in the top right corner of the SCORM course before closing the module, so that you don’t have to start from the beginning should your connection be interrupted.

To ensure the best experience possible, verify your device meets eloomi’s minimum hardware requirements and that your browser meets the minimum requirements for Skillsoft.

Don’t forget to mark the module as complete in the top right corner when you have finished the SCORM course.

Bonus info: Though Skillsoft courses are mobile-compatible, certain details in the courses are not. Tests, Knowledge Checks, exercises, etc. are not currently mobile compatible, so users will need to login via tablet or desktop to complete those.
