In eloomi Appraisals, it's possible to consolidate the preparation completed by the manager and employee in a PDF, which can be downloaded and emailed to one or both prior to the 1-1 dialogue.
Bear in mind, the preparation stages should take place before the meeting for the above flow to take place, and your process must include the Meeting step to support this.
This article will help you enable and configure the PDF.
How to enable the PDF
Once you've created all of your steps and Templates, click on the Action of the Manager preparation step, and toggle on 'Should use Manager preparation logic'.
Refresh your browser.
In the progress tab of the Appraisal builder, click on the Meeting Action to view the Advanced tab in the left-hand menu. Toggle on 'Generate PDF before the meeting?'
In the dropdown for 'GET CONTENT FROM MANAGER' and 'GET CONTENT FROM EMPLOYEE', select the Manager and Employee preparation steps respectively.
In the last dropdown 'SHOW DOWNLOAD BUTTON FOR', decide who should have access to download the PDF.
How to configure the PDF
In the Templates tab, locate the manager and employee templates from which content will be taken, and click Edit.
Click on each section of your template to view the 'Advanced' menu on the left-hand side.
Toggle on 'Displayed in user PDF' and Displayed in manager PDF' as necessary.
Repeat for all sections of the manager and employee Template.
Bonus info: If Sections in the Manager and Employee preparation Templates are identical, for example the introduction, you need not include both in the respective PDFs.
