This article will explain how to create Templates in your eloomi Appraisal.
Once you have created your Appraisal's Steps, you will be able to create Templates to associate with Template and Template Approval steps.
How to create a new Template
Navigate to the Templates tab of the Appraisal builder, and click Choose or create templates.
You can create a Blank template to start from scratch, or use existing Templates from the library, which are accessible after the eloomi Quick Start Appraisal has been created.
Fill out the Template Details. We recommend a title and subtitle that will help you identify the responsible person, process, and year for future use, such as "Employee preparation" as the title and "mid-year 2022"
Click Add new page.
Now you can update the page's Title, and Icon on the left-hand menu.
Bear in mind, recent Templates will be located at the bottom of the window. Should you wish to copy one you've just created, simply follow step 2, locate your desired Template, and click on it to create a copy.
Changes to a copy will not affect the original Template.
How to add Sections and Components
Once you've created your page, you can add Sections. To each Section, you could then add instructional text and Components.
Click 'Add new section' in the middle of the page.
To edit your Sections, click on them on the right hand side of the Template. This will open the left-hand menu, in which you can update its Title and Description.
To add Components, click on the left-hand 'Components' tab, and drag and drop your desired Components to the Section on the right.
To edit the Components you’ve added, click on them in the Section on the right. This will allow you to change the Title and other details and settings in the left-hand menu.
How to delete and move Sections
To delete a Section, select it to locate the Delete icon in its top right corner.
Depending on your browser's resolution, you might need to minimise to view the Delete icon. It helps to close the left-hand menu as well.
To move a Section, click on it to view the up and down arrows on its left side.
Once you've built your Template, you can customise which Sections will appear in the Appraisal PDF.
