This article explains the HR Administrator role and configuration in eloomi Appraisals. In addition, it demonstrates how HR Admins can move users back in a process.
The HR Administrator need not be the users' manager. They will be able to see all users in the Department they are an admin of in the Manage Development tab. Furthermore, they can act in addition to or independent from the users' manager. They will be able to view, edit, submit, and approve managers' Templates in addition to those they are responsible for as HR Administrators.
Only an HR Administrator can move a user back in a process. To do so, they must be assigned to the user's specific department.
Important: an HR Administrator cannot fulfil this role for their own Department as this is considered a conflict. Likewise, a user cannot be both a manager and HR Administrator for the same department, as this is also considered a conflict.
To assign an HR Administrator, navigate to Admin > Appraisals. Edit your process, navigate to the 'Advanced settings' tab and toggle on 'Do you want to use HR administrator in this process?'.
Click 'Assign HR Role' and locate your desired user.
At the bottom of the assignment window, select the relevant Department.
To remove an HR Administrator from a Department, locate this setting as described in step 1, and select the user to view the 'delete' button.
To move a user back in a process, navigate to Discover > Manage Development to locate your user in the process. You can also filter on the left-hand side for faster results.
Select your user, and click 'Move back' at the top of the process.
