Trophies are essentially rewards for users for accomplishing certain milestones within the platform.

For an overview of these trophies, you can navigate to Admin > Settings  > Trophy settings.

Once you have navigated to the trophy settings, you can find an overview of the trophy names, descriptions (to understand when the trophy is achieved), extra points they will receive when receiving the trophy and the level it is connected to (we have created a differentiation between easier and more difficult to achieve trophies through levels, which will show in their trophy overview).

Disabling a trophy

On the left side of the trophy, you can select the specific trophy that you would like to disable. If you want to disable all trophies, click on the box at the top of the list and that will 'mark' or 'unmark' all trophies.

Disabling a trophy will remove the trophy and its respective points for all users on the platform who have received this trophy already.

Note: This action (enabling or disabling a trophy) is saved on the platform right away and you will not be asked to confirm or submit the changes.

Editing a trophy

On the right side of the trophy, under Actions, you can edit the trophy. You are able to change the name, the description and the trophy image.

Keep in mind that you cannot change the backend code for triggering the trophy, which is why we recommend to keep the essence of the trophy in its name and description.

Note: these edits will overwrite any custom translations that you have done (or will do) in regards to the trophy names or descriptions (through custom translations).
So changing the trophy 'Learner' to 'Learning Bear' will change the trophy name in every language to 'Learning Bear' and this cannot be adjusted through custom translation unless you reset the trophy settings back to default.

If you want to change trophy names and descriptions in different languages, we recommend to reset the trophies to its defaults and use the translation file under Admin > Settings > Custom Translations. Search in column A ('key') for 'trophies.name' and 'trophies.description' and adjust the text under column 'language current'.

For more information about custom translations, please see this article.
