Using Magic Links

A magic link basically allows users to click on and be directed to the assigned module directly without having to login. Once enabled any modules that are assigned will include a Magic Link instead of the usual link.

Among our customers, the most common use case is enable users to have a direct and smooth access to modules without getting into the trouble of forgotten passwords.

Enablement and settings can be found here: Admin > Settings > Magic Links

Check with your IT if the enablement is within the scope of your internal IT policy. Then define how often you want the link to be useable by each user, and define for how long each link is valid (1, 7, or 30 days).

If you want to prevent users from using already sent out magic links, you have the option to revoke sent out links to disable them.

Be aware that you still need to create a user profile and that your user is either active or pending, in order for the system to be able to send out the link.
