This article will explain how to add a hyperlink to your online modules.

A hyperlink is a piece of text that when clicked takes the user to a webpage.

To add a hyperlink to your online module navigate to Admin>Learning. From here click on "Create new module" select "Online Module" and click on the "Steps" tab.

In the Steps tab, you will then click on "Add step" and add the "Article" step.

Here you can click on the clue circle with the + sign and select your desired layout.

Once you have selected your layout, you can click on the text box and click the "Link" icon.

In the "Link Info" tab you will be prompted to enter your URL and information and you can also select the Display Text for your link.

You can also click on the "Target" tab and select how you want your hyperlink to open.

You may also choose to click on the "Upload" tab- here you can select a file you wish to add to your article as a hyperlink. You can select your file from your computer, click on "send it to the server" and then the file will be converted into a URL link.

You will automatically be taken back to the "Link Info" tab where you can select your Display Text for your file.

In the "Advance" tab you will find additional advance settings to help you customize your hyperlink further.

When you are finished, you can then click "OK" and continue editing your module. When the module is completed, click the green checkmark on the upper right hand corner to "Save and exit".
